Walking around downtown Nadi yesterday, not many tourists about. It's a bit sketchy in a fun way. A taxi driver said a lot of tourists go straight from the airport to Denarau and/or onto the resorts. It's a shame because there are plenty of shops that could do with a few tourist dollars.

Wow. Changed alot since I was there in 1976.

Plantation Island, Fiji. Just as we were sitting down for dinner. Was the curry night buffet, for a 'feed the masses' the spread was excellent and the Fijian lamb curry with biryani rice was our pick.

Suspect the QP was there first. They then built the J lounge. Doing it the other way around would have meant a refurb of the QP to J lounge standards perhaps. Ie, more cost.

Same deal in PER. QP views are much better than the J lounge.

CBR too. QP & CL has views of the runway, J lounge has views of the hotel, ramp up and down departures etc.
