Good flight back in BNE, happy to get shadow in very full cabin. Thanks to Buzz and Ruby for another delightful and entertaining wine tour. It was nice to meet familiar AFFers and put some more faces to handles. See you all in the next great event.

Some of your photos QF WP are a bit "shaky" might I say. Hope it was the bus and not you ;)
Thanks Buzz....I thought I needed a visit to the optometrist;) I wish i could have been there but alas only got back from Japan 4 days ago, and off to Ireland in 8 days...needed some rest and too many things to do at home. When's the next one Buzz?? :)

Met up with Jess and Jojen +1 in the Hilton exec lounge. Now kicking on with GPH, ALH, Kabander +1 at Gauchos. We have all eaten half a cow ....
Each

Waiting for Aeolus to return to Australian as she will help with the organisation. Hoping for the first half of August. Thinking it will be 2 wineries only (plus lunch) because of the distance from ADL. Keep an eye on the calendar as that is where you will see it first. Fingers crossed we get 25 takers.

Very big thanks to Buzz and Ruby for organising and implementing an absolutely marvellous Titanic wine tasting tour!!

It was great for me as a social newbie to put some faces and names to some of the forum members who attended and to discover that Jojen+1 and I had some mutual friends when at uni many years ago.

The weekend of Aug 15/16 will be perfect;)

I had a great time! Huge thanks to Buzz and everyone who helped organise and or donated prizes.

Can't wait for the next one :)

Massive thanks to Buzzard and Ruby for organising an excellent day. This really was an amazing event. I know how much negotiation, research and hard work goes into these tours, and it really is very much appreciated!

Our visit to Rockford alone was definitely special, and it was worth double the "price" of the day, so the whole day represented excellent value IMHO.

Thank you to all the attendees for making it such a good group of people also. I think we all had a great time.

See you at the next one ;)

For those who were wondering I made my flight... just :p:p

I was the last pax to board, and I think we were taxiing within 180 seconds (that's 3 minutes kids). I have been home for a while and unpacked purchases. A big sleep for me tonight (>4 hrs), then back to work in the morning.

Another bunch of thanks to Buzz and Ruby for their superb organisation of the tour, unfailing good humour, and generous stock of patience. Thanks also to everyone else along for the ride, who made the day fun. :)

My first AFF event, so another rite of passage. :)

Well even though I touched down an hour ago after two greats flights (crew and meals), I just arrived home, sans bag - it is somewhere between ADL, SYD and BNE (and is holding my Turkey Flat 3 pack). My first lost bag with VA in just on 3 years with them.they hopefully will deliver tomorrow.

Off to find a toothbrush and get some shut eye. Before I know it I'll be up (6 hours).

Thanks for the SMS Buzzard and thank s to you and Ruby for organising yet another successful wine tour (plus the bus driver). I'd think each winery would be happy with the sales today - I know penegal and RooFlyer hit their CC's hard today.
