Well even though I touched down an hour ago after two greats flights (crew and meals), I just arrived home, sans bag - it is somewhere between ADL, SYD and BNE (and is holding my Turkey Flat 3 pack). My first lost bag with VA in just on 3 years with them.they hopefully will deliver tomorrow.

Off to find a toothbrush and get some shut eye. Before I know it I'll be up (6 hours).

Thanks for the SMS Buzzard and thank s to you and Ruby for organising yet another successful wine tour (plus the bus driver). I'd think each winery would be happy with the sales today - I know penegal and RooFlyer hit their CC's hard today.
Fingers crossed your bag appears ASAP.

VA baggage Services phoned 15 mins ago - bag turned up on first flight from SYD, so it mis-connected given my tight transfer (meant to be 45 mins but was 25 when we arrived, as I went straight from arrival gate to departure gate).

First courier leaves airport at 9am. I leave home at 10am for funeral across town. She's checking whether he can make it as I really don't want the wines sitting in the sun all day - may get them to deliver to work.

Got a call on the way to work that the other temp had called in sick, and as they want to train us together, they were postponing my start. So headed home again....some extra sleep after the weekend wouldve been nice!

My trip home relatively uneventful; walked through my front door a bit before midnight.

Many thanks to Buzz and Ruby for a great day out; I was pleased to diversify my Barossa holding a bit. Great company made the day even better.

See you next time .

Gad your bag arrived safely QF WP.

Also just wanted to thank Jojen for the pressie :D

You'll love the VinOair. Best little gadget ever - makes even the cheapest wine taste better (well, most of the time)....

Totally agree from experience, well worth the investment even if you aren't merely trying to salvage some plonk :D.

Jealous of all who attended, looks like a fantastic time and some fantastic wines were had by all!

After a sleepin and a late breakfast thought it was time to add our thanks !!

A HUGE thank you to Buzz and Ruby for organising such a great weekend. These events do not happen overnight and a lot of thought and planning is required to make them such a success.

It was great to meet up with people we have met previously and also some new faces, and it really is a small world as Mr jojen and rogerkambah discovered !

Thank also to JessicaTam, Princess Fiona & shriek for their company last night in Exec lounge at the Hilton.

Glad to hear you made your flight Penegal and that you were reunited with your case and no broken bottles QF WP

Hope to see everyone again at the next event.

jojen & jojen+1

Sorry I missed you at breakfast, but I was out the door before 9. Great to catch up last night, 'though.

Thanks Buzz & Ruby, a very special wine tour with lots of room on the bus, pretty pleased with the transport arrangements compared with my last tour...! Looking forward to the next event... Hopefully I have the credit card bill paid off before the next one ;)

My thanks to Buzz and Ruby as well. You both did a spectacular job. Great fun all day, and really enjoyed catching up with old and new friends.

Now that I've made it home from work (and recovered somewhat) I'd like to echo everyone else with a massive thank you to Buzz and Ruby. blackcat20 and I know just how much work goes into pulling one of these together and you two really outdid yourselves this weekend.

A big thanks to everyone else who came along as well for making it a great weekend. It's always great to see some familiar faces and especially some new ones.

For those of you that attended Buzz's last epic wine tour in January, you may remember I had 2 bottles of red wine smashed in my luggage at Adelaide airport.
3 months down the track Jet star have finally paid $496.00 in damages.
Now... to replace those bottles.....
