So I have a flight to HKG (then PEK) on Sunday - currently sat in 12E (a very popular seat it seems) and I am thinking to myself it's only 25K points to upgrade to F...
Flight loading is fairly ligt Ithink so an OpUp is very unlikely:
F4 A4 J9 C9 D9 I7 W1 R0 T0 Z0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N9 Q9 O9 G0 X8 E0
There are certainly a few seats free in F.
Premium whY is pretty full though so there is a slim chance of some people being pushed into J but with I7 I find it very unlikely that they would need to push anyone up to F.
So do I pull the pin on 25K points? It has been a long time since my last F flight (QF 744 LAX-SYD after ATL-MIA-JFK-LAX so I was a little too tired to fully enjoy it). I havent flown in F on the A380 so might be nice to try. It leaves a small hole in my balance but for next year's trip I think I am more likely to be 100K points behind rather than 25K...
Decisions, decisions...
