TomCat's new digs!

Yeah we're trying to get as much done as possible, particularly the big stuff.

The 90 day maintenance is about to start but that won't be completed in time. At least I'll be home I guess. First tradies come next week, plus our curtains finally get installed.

It's amazing how long it takes to get curtains/shutters. We ordered plantation shutters in October and only getting installed next Friday!

I’m taking notes! Looks lovely. And I’m seeing pink and blue dammit.

Colts have to be quite bare these days don’t they! When I think of what was done 30 years ago and now! Seems too harsh for me. Plus everything they tell you not to do, well, my boys did the opposite. Tummy sleepers both of them. One slept like Garfield. Bottom up in the air with legs curled underneath. Sigh. Great memories.

Not bothering to make up the cot yet as we'll be using a basinette to start .

I think it's red as well.

I like the fact that you have an adjustable base for the cot. You don't have to bend down as far when they're really young and can't stand up in the cot.

I originally looked at some cheaper cots (like Ikea) but they were far too low and I already have back issues. This one is a good height and the base can be lowered which is awesome.

You can see I’ve been out of the game a while. What are the good brands these days? Used to be snuggies then it was bliss when pampers arrived.
Friends and sister have all said Huggies. I've got a pack of the Little Ones brand as well as I've heard really good things and they are much cheaper.

Young horses are bare?

The only disposable nappies around when I had the kids were some odd plastic thingy that you tied at the sides and then placed what looked like an oversized pad inside. Of course they always slipped down. I used fabric nappies (not towelling) and remember the buckets of bleach in the laundry. How things have changed! :)

House opposite had their slab poured this morning. Tradies started before 6am

Check out the backyard (or lack thereof).
