Big blocks of land can be a strange beast. We have lived on half an acre since April 2002 and in all this time we haven't set foot on more than half of it.
That's probably the only time you would be happy with a delay. The longer the slab has to set the better.Slad pour is scheduled for today, so hopefully get an email confirming this afternoon.
Frames are scheduled to start 5 June but obviously may start sooner or later depending the site supervisor and tradies.
Can't get there till the weekend if you want a photo taken in daylightPics or it didn't happen.
Guess we'll just have to be patient then. Can't get there till the weekend if you want a photo taken in daylight

She’s just that time poor this week....and it’s a 70km round trip.Is BC that patient? I would be doing a driveby
And the problem with that is?She’s just that time poor this week....and it’s a 70km round trip.
I don’t have time to drive an extra 70km after work just to stare at a pitch black block? And the problem with that is?
We can wait. I think.
Visions of a BC20 23/5/18 being scratched into wet concrete ...I don’t have time to drive an extra 70km after work just to stare at a pitch black block?
It can wait till Saturday, it’s not like it can up and vanishWhat?. a newly laid slab is always a reason for a drive by even in the dark.
Noooo! It’s a milestone that has to be witnessed when still wet. A mark has to be inscribed for posterity as @serfty suggested. Perhaps a handprint?.It can wait till Saturday, it’s not like it can up and vanish
Leaving any marks on the slab would make it pretty obvious we've been on site without permission, which means they can halt the build. That's not something I'm willing to risk.Noooo! Particularly after all the waiting to get this far!Leaving any marks on the slab would make it pretty obvious we've been on site without permission, which means they can halt the build. That's not something I'm willing to risk.
