Our street does this around the large street trees. Many streets in Adelaide have large purple bows for the jacarandahs.I already have the giant inflatable reindeer for the front lawn. There will definitely be lights, and probably some big red bows around the front pillars.
Good luck.We finally have our final invoice! Now to see if I can squeeze a handover date out of them.
Hope you do manage to get a date. Must be incredibly frustrating now as it's so close. We finally have our final invoice! Now to see if I can squeeze a handover date out of them.
I think this has been the worst part, as it seems like such a long time for so little to be happening. The supervisor thinks the builder will want it off books by end of month, so I'm hopeful for an October 31 handover but we shall see.Hope you do manage to get a date. Must be incredibly frustrating now as it's so close.

What are the appliances? I thinking just hot water and oven? Or is dishwasher also included in the specs? Some good news at last.
Fixes are 99% done, just need the chip in the front door frame to be done. Rubble has all been removed from the back yard so we can go and put the fence back together.
Occupancy inspection happens tomorrow, and the builders inspector will go back through to check everything.
The sooner we get the certificate, the sooner our bank releases the cheque. Once we have that they will book in appliances, with the aim to get us keys by the end of next week.
Just hot water and oven. We still need to purchase and install the dishwasher once we have keys. What are the appliances? I thinking just hot water and oven? Or is dishwasher also included in the specs?
That wont take long at all then.Just hot water and oven. We still need to purchase and install the dishwasher once we have keys.
It's more the paperwork side of things that takes time. That wont take long at all then.
It’s a Bank. They still seem to own the world.Broker is saying itll take the bank 7-10 days to produce the cheque; load of bollocks given they've had the final invoice for a month.
Hopefully but relies on the bank playing ball.So you’re expecting the handover just after you get back from your holiday? Hopefully not too much longer. You need to get the veggies in.

I confess that we still use cheques for some things but are banks still exchanging real cheques for settlement transactions. I thought that side of things would all be electronic now.
