Very slowly. Took them a while to find a builder to take over the project. Lots of new paperwork. Then they found that some forms had been filed incorrectly by PD so that all had to be redone. But we got there. Hopefully its a nice quick build.

It's rear access for the garage, as it's a strip of town homes.

Whoops I forgot to keep this thread updated

We're up to week 25 now. Framing and bricking took a while but now it's moving along nicely. The outside is complete, they just need to finish rendering some of the Hebel. Electrical and plumbing was roughed in and now plastering is being done. They are estimating June for completion

June will be wonderful! I noticed new homes are going up faster now, ours was 13.5mths inc christmas shutdown

I missed it but is this your new home or an investment? I noticed its double story so wondering if youve outgrown your current home with the little people you have grown

Investment. Our current home is also a double and a bit bigger than the townhouse (plus we have a yard).

Oh we didn't get to choose anything. It's a turn key package so its colour scheme A or colour scheme B.

That makes it so much easier for an investment property and would also contribute to a speedier build. Both options look good.

The only addition we've made is a split system because no one wants to live upstairs with no aircon.
