TomCat's Suite Adventure

To enjoy the experience more I don't do the Krug, the Dom, the icy vodka with the caviar nor the French red at home. Just remember if you don't like something just try the other. Everyone's taste buds are different.
My champagne drinking mate did not enjoy Krug as he was a PH fan.

Oooh. TomCat? :p. Called you that months ago. Nice to see it stick.

I've been waiting for your trip to start.

Hope your bucket list trip is everything you planned it to be (and has a better ending - well, actually a start would be good.)

I didn't mind BA's Club Europe (fancy name for J-class on European flights), but did find the lack of leg room a little surprising. This from Heathrow to Stockholm last year (on the 767):

Food and booze (Pol Roger) was great, and agree with others that food in Japan is bloody brilliant. Much cheaper than I anticipated - a very pleasant surprise.

Have fun!

That's better legroom than the A319/20/21.....

I have two days of work and one of school to get through before we can head to the airport. Might think about packing at some point.

It is more likely on the run to London that there can be spare Suites. If you ask nicely you can have one as a bedroom and one for dining and movies. I never learned how to get the bed back to a seat.

I think this is my most remembered F-class moment. I was flying SQ NRT-SIN (a quite long flight actually) and I was the only pax in F.

On arrival to my seat:

"Sir, would you like a glass of Dom Perignon, Krug, or both"?

It was the "or both" that I remember!

Then, after being handed a menu, "Sir, order anything you like, in any order, at any time".

I did try both champagnes and had the caviar with vodka. A memorable experience even though I'm not a great fan of champagne or caviar or vodka!

SQ can do F-class really well. And being the only pax in F-class...

It should be a great trip!

It's all about the double bed for us this time. 3C&D.

And the problem with that is?

To avoid forgetting to pack things (or taking things packed out and forgetting to put them back in the case), I usually start packing as the taxi pulls up outside.

For some reason Mrs C seems to be somewhat disturbed by this behaviour and it usually take a few glasses of sparkling in the lounge to get her blood pressure back down to a normal level. We leave for MLA and CH in three weeks less two hours and I've been warned that a repeat of a similar performance will have dire consequences that could lead to nocturnal loneliness ......

Because you might not be stressed about it, but it causes us unnecessary stress...

Have a wonderful trip and make the most of the champagne. Look forward to the updates.

Mars V Venus then. Seems almost universal.

Drron, do you do this to mrs.dr.ron?

And Tommy, start packing!

Role reversal in our household.
I'm the guilty one. Last minute packer, with no hope of redemption at this late stage in the game. :)
