Enough with the kale. I need a recipe for these brussel sprout with bacon things.

My parents never served brussel sprouts so I quite honestly never ate it until a couple years ago at a restaurant.

True fact about kale:

In a garden, where there a number of vegetables / salad species growing, NO animal nor insect will TOUCH the kale until everything else is gone first.

That to me is the true miracle of kale - it is so hardy. It can be grown truly "organically" as you can do it without pesticides or fungicides or anything. Not even mould wants to have a go at it.

Oh good, I'm just like other animals or insects then. Glad to hear!

Kale is extremely nutritious.
But neither my wife nor I will be paying for Qantas trips with meals like the OP posted about, for reasons previously expressed.

This KALE thread has been going for over a week now, in real life the kale would have wilted and died !

One can live in hope.

Not to mention the huge environmental impacts of cattle farming...

Rumenist ! < goes off to make “Save Miss Daisy” and “Hands off my rump” signs>:p

To give airlines their due, they do manage to make kale taste as good at altitude as it does on the ground:)

Lets take this super food Kale and bury it with oil, butter, garlic, mayonnaise, béchamel sauce, cheese ect. Is it still healthy?

Meanwhile, someone I follow on instagram had a Woolies delivery and asks why did she get FIVE bunches of the stuff as she only ordered 1. Woolies are giving it away.

I had the chicken with kale dish the other day. It could at best be described as a sprinkling of kale. Barely noticeable. Also one of the worst in-flight meals I have had. Rubber chicken.
