Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - I searched as best I could…

Does anyone have any insight to share on the transfer from CDG to ORY?
Is it a reasonable proposition for a 4 hour transit?
Method?
Cost?

TIA for any assistance.

Well, this is probably old news (pre Covid), but then you could take the RER to a station near ORY and change to another train (I forget the details even though I've done it, but I'm sure you can Google it).

I think I might have read somewhere that the RER now goes to ORY, but I'm not sure, but I Google everything before I travel (sometimes it gives you false/outdated info). Thus I only need to keep the outlines in my head (and that's all it will retain).

Using those transport modes, 4 hours would be quite adequate (but watch out for strikes, which are a French passion).

That RER must be newish? The few times I flew in/out of ORY (not recommended - even worse than CDG), it was some odd combo of metro, tram and bus. Settled for a taxi instead. Once on a work trip I was relatively close already so not so bad in a taxi…

Still, 4hrs might still be pushing it as a transfer between the two depending on where you’re arriving from and allowing for immigration, baggage, finding the train and cough at the ORY end.
