Travel Insurance which covers COVID-19?

Better to take out a policy with an Australian based insurer with covid coverage.

Noting that when I entered Fiji no one asked to see proof of insurance with covid coverage even though I had it.

There are reasons why sometimes it is necessary to do it the way we did.

The issue is that the airline is responsible and should/will normally ask at check in. If you arrive without it and they do check you will be on the next flight home and at the airline's expense.

Sure but do they outweigh the minimal cost for an Aussie policy that would have paid out already and could more easily be followed up once home?
