Triple or double points to LAX

Registered on the off chance I get to book a flight, thanks!

Will it apply to already booked flights?
Apparently not, if you read the T&C's as it states it needs to be booked during the promotion period. But I have registered regardless as I am in the same situation.

You've probably already thought of it, but if you've booked flexis, it could be worth cancelling and re-booking, depending on the fees and what you value the points at.

Saw this and thought 'woohoo' - I've got a LAX flight later in the year that I was about to book. Checked the dates - mine's in late October so misses the boat. Still registered though.

Just read the thread above about the mega-cheap fares to LAX. And I missed out again! Snooze = lose.

Arrgghhhhhh! Already booked both return flights BEFORE this came up. Just appealed to Velocity over the phone and the call centre stood polite but firm on their interpretation of the rules, which do stipulate the promotion period between 16 Feb and 8 March. But it does not say that existing flights booked are ineligible....so I live in hope!

I've booked VA flights through to JFK and returning LAX-SYD in early May last month but have still applied for the promo. In the past i had outstanding bookings on Etihad and then applied to these promotions and received the bonus so i cant see why this would be any different. You think you would want to reward your organised customers who book things in advance.

I guess the idea is that it encourages new pax to book, since they already have your business. I don't love the thinking, but I get it.
