I have never booked an award flight for a carrier other than QF and am now having a little trouble getting flights with AA to show up.

Specifically, I am searching for YUL to NYC for dates around Nov 10 for 2. The search engine always comes back with none available. After looking at aa.com, there are flights. Does this mean that there is no award availability? I find this hard to believe because the same comes up when I tick flexible... Or is it the case that I can't book award flights that are operated by American Eagle?

Have your tried changing the search preferences.

Can't search for ASA for YUL-NYC. As far as I am aware, ASAs are only for QF or JQ services.

I've found the award booking engine doesn't always show flights on certain airlines or routes especially if departing outside of Australia. You might have to book this one over the phone.
