TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

There is a spin-off series called "Ferry". I have not yet found it on netflix.
Edit: Found the film but not the series. Film came before the series apparently.
I cannot find the reference now but I think I must have mis-read it as there does not appear to be a Ferry series, just the movie. The production company of both Undercover and ferry is Flemish, yet most of the actors are Dutch. There are many similarities in Flemish/Dutch language but accent is a little different and you can hear the difference sometimes in the actors accents. I cannot tell the difference between the languages, just they sound different.

Watched that too - we were well and truly invested by that stage! I think we were in deep Melb lockdown at the time.
Its fascinating to walk in the shoes of an undercover agent - no wonder many go crazy or rogue.
Just re watched American Gangster (Denzel Washington/Russell Crowe) which was based on true story and - well worth watching.

Not sure if you were a Fauda fan (Israeli series about Mossad elitesquad) but another series apparantly drops this year.
You sometimes read of undercover operatives getting too invested in the other team. When money lands in your pocket it must be a temptation for some. They would make friendships too which I'd expect would conflict personal feelings after arrests are made.

Have watched a Mossad style series, cannot recall which though.

OK, a bit OT. Not a series or movie, but adventure, fraught with danger. And it is a kiddies show! Maybe Grant Denyer would tackle this, if the network could get insurance for the shoot.

A bit off topic, but a friend is planning to run it in 12 months time in a CanAm/Polaris type thing. I would love to go, but have strong reservations about visiting Saudi. :(
As do I But our cruise in May has just added Jeddah as a port. Have already told them I'm not impressed.

I would think that would be instant grounds for a full refund, adding a country to itinerary after booking, that will impact travel insurance (if not named as a destination) not to mention safety issues (Smart Traveler says reconsider your need to travel).

Back on topic. Currently watching Call the Midwife (Season 12 on BBC First), Ginny & Georgia (Season 2 on Netflix) and have been rewatching Boston Legal for some light entertainment.

Nah. They stitch it up in their terms and conditions. Covid given everyone a great excuse. We have coverage just excluding US.

We are working our way through House of Cards US version. We had forgotton so much.

Has anyone watched Black Snow
on Stan ?

I’m about to start it tonight. Trailer looks great.

Reviews have been that scenery is stunning but that ending is a total cop out. I do plan to get to it.

Another reason for me to avoid cruises. In the event of an emergency a diversion is fine, but to proactively add somewhere on my no go list to me is unacceptable.

Just gotta roll with it. This would never stop me cruising. Have you been on one?

House of Cards, UK version on the list but recall I didn't like it as much but likely it's more clever. Have alreany watched West Wing again.

What's Ginny & Georgia like?

Watched first episode of new BBC Happy Valley. It’s totally fake! In one scene in a car park, ALL of the cars were extremely clean and shinny! In the UK? Come on!

I look forward to watching this when it becomes available. Enjoyed the previous seasons.
