TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

I love art and British galleries so found on Binge all series of Portrait Artist of the year. I have seen three of the final winner portraits (one a landscape) in their galleries — now another two to see when I am in UK in May.
Really enjoy it

@MARTINE Finally finished Undercover and then Ferry. Enjoyed them but now on the hunt for something other worthwhile to watch.
Sccrollling through the list of Netflix offerings came across The Takeover, coincidentally also Dutch made and with Frank Lammers (Ferry) playing a supporting role. Worth a look if you like movies about hackers...and murder and intrigue.
Reminds me another good Dutch offering, Riphagen, set in WW2 and about spies and double crossers.

Thanks so much
I will follow up

BBC iPlayer.

Its also on binge
Its fabulous - started s3 last night
What really impresses me is - although the circumstances are so tragic and different to mine - the capacity to explore family relationships/conflict is so well done. Its insightful beyond the actual crime

Unfortunately (for me ) I am unable to view online so looking forward to when it is shown on TV. The lead actor is a favourite of mine for her down to earth portrayal of characters. Must be a Yorkshire trait.

+1 and I have just finished watching the first 3 seasons of The Twilight Zone (1960's) maybe 80 or so episodes. Thoroughly enjoying it. 2 seasons to go.

Brings back memories of 1960s

Hopefully I don't have too many episodes to watch of Fauda. Not a feel good series and I don't feel empathy for any of the characters.

The ABC series Phoenix from the early nineties is currently available on iView.

It certainly bears watching again and shows the Victorian Police in all their glory as they investigate some serious villains.
The initial reluctance of police to understand and accept forensic evidence, and the blatant sexual harassment and sexism is appropriately shown.

I quite enjoyed Three Pines (Prime) even though I guessed the murderer in each 2 parter and the overall arc.

Finally finished season 2 of Ginny & Georgia and it did not disappoint (although annoyed Georgia couldn't quit while she was ahead).

G and G is good.
Tackles relevant young adult issues in a non cheesy/preachy/overly PC way and very well written
Agree re Georgia
Also love the neighbor mum - gave me happy flashbacks to her zany role in Schitts Creek

Three Pines was predictable but entertaining

Bloodlands series 2 drops this week on sbs
Cannot wait
Saw it some months ago. It’s good but gets a little confused with the plot.

Binged Succession over the past few weeks and wow....amazing show.
Very rich, well connected family business operating a media conglomerate and their family dynamic is such an amazing watch.

The emotion in the characters and their development over the series is something I haven't seen in a tv show before.

Season 4 comes out in a few months.

It is BRILLIANT

1883 (prequel to Yellowstone) on Paramount +
Absolutely brilliant series.
Beautifully shot, great characters.

Bad Sisters on Apple TV
Loved this show, set in Ireland. Great cast and plot.
