Started watching Shetland on Netflix tonight..... only for the scenery. I have been there twice, and just 1 episode in and I want to go back again.

I hate Utopia on ABC! It's not fiction! After having been contacted by two phone calls, two SMSs and two emails including a survey over a simple car service two weeks ago I related too closely and have been on the verge of calling the dealer and saying" FFFS go away, it was just a car service!"

Exactly as I felt watching tonight.
I am now sick of people wanting feed back when ever they deal with me. I always try not to give them my email address these days. If I do so many internet businesses seem abuse it.

I often just give out a fake email address, a variation of my true address.
A friend of mine, government lawyer writing contracts and tenders loves watching Utopia with her hubby. Gives him an insight to what her job is really like.

Which is why I have watched it as with the major shows like GoT there are just way to many people that can spoil. And it is not just social media, but radio, TV shows...even footyball commentators who will say something off the cuff not meaning to make a spoiler. But there are plenty who will make announced spoilers deliberately.

When Breaking Bad was on a 3LO radio announcer completely gave away one major reveal for an episode that he had seen in advance. He thought he was being subtle as the reference went back to a clue many episodes prior, but as soon as he said whatwhat he did it did I knew what he meant and it then ruined that whole episode for me.

I know that for GoT that even this thread I will avoid opening a day or so prior to a GoT episode and with the leak this week there is already a big spoiler in this thread.

I remember some clever d*ck morning radio show host announce who had won Survivor the night before in US and not being shown in Oz until that night. Anyone dumb schmuck could have looked it up on the internet if they had wanted to so he was hardly showing his intellect or 'secret sources' in doing so but he couldnt help blabbing. Never listened to his show again.

The scenery is lovely (though actually most is filmed elsewhere) and I just loooov the accents.

Yeah, I had to do the same as you really can't avoid the spoilers. I usually watch each episode 2 or 3 times any ways to pick up the details I miss the first time so I will still watch it again on Monday. Only thing I will say is that one scene literally had me in tears - in the last 20 minutes but not the very last scene, another one.

Outlander series 3 on FOXTEL on Sept 11. One of the episodes had the best love scenes I've ever seen on TV.

Another show I really love, just in time to fill the void of GoT hiatus!

Not just social, but the youtube app on my tv. It gives me suggestions and one of videos drops big spoilers in the headline. Once I watch the show, I will do my best to shut done that youtube channel.

(next subject) I'm just waiting for Cersei to be forced into marriage with Euron as I don't think her subjects would be thrilled to find out who the real father is! She doesn't want to but she did promise to marry him when the war is over but she will have to move up her plan. I don't see her actually birthing the baby, I think she will die in childbirth or be killed before that by the valonquar (who technically could be the baby itself.
