TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Most of the American shows I watch (Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl,) are on hiatus at the moment and I have found myself watching Real Estate shows from Canada on the Lifestyle Home channel on Foxtel. I was trying to find out when the property show Love it or List it Australia was starting Season 2 and I came across all the other shows with the same name and became addicted to the concept. Now I'm looking forward to a show called Jillian and Justin which appears to be a cross between a reality tv program and a home renovation show hosted by one of the leads in Love it or List it Vancouver who used to be part of the Bachelor.

When does Doctor Who start again. I want to see the new Doctor.
October.

SBS are finally showing The Orville and it's also on their catch up app.

I've recorded the episodes so far but haven't had a chance to watch them.

Have been watching La Mante on Netflix, a French crime series - finding it riveting. Have one episode to go.
With no footy and only horseracing on Sports, we are looking towards new series so we will check that out. Currently watching Shooter which is good. Waiting for House of Cards sans Spacey in early November. On Foxtel I have a bunch of Outlander episodes waiting for a quiet home alone as well as the last episodes of A Place to Call Home.

I watched some of the first episode of The Orville. Some of the fun is connected to recognising some of the parallels between Star Trek and The Orville. For example the lead character had 3 bars on his uniform at the start then had 4 bars once he took command of the starship. This parallels the Star Trek Next Gen rankings. The Orville does things that Star Trek couldn't do or did do but couldn't say what it was doing. Based on the first few scenes I think there is going to be a lot of what I think is called Deadpan Humour. This takes really good acting to be able to pull off successfully and so far I think they've achieved this.

Have been watching Deep State (much improved after the 1st episode) and the 4th season of Bosch-recommend both of the shows

With the heat tv watching is a great idea :) how ever waiting on my regular shows to return,Flash Arrow, I just found Persons of Interest on Netflix. Interestingly enough I had just downloaded The Last Librarian both with similar premises
Still havnt got into Stranger Things

Waiting for Flash and Arrow as well. Catching up on NCIS New Orleans and Dr Who in the meantime. Just finished the first season of A Discovery of Witches.

Finally got around to seeing the last series of House of Cards. I think we spent all but one episode asking WT? Shame they didn’t just can it.

I agree. Not a patch on the first three seasons.

I have just finished the UK series Bodyguard. I thought that was great. It will be interesting to see what they do with S2.

Enjoyed the first season of Stranger Things but like many series, I wish they had stopped at one. :)

Lucifer season 1 was great, not so much the next two seasons. But Season 4 of The Bridge (Nordic noir) was excellent, better than the two before it and nearly as good as Season 1.

Counterpart is another series I'm waiting for season 2 of.

The character development of Wendy Byrde in Ozarks has me hanging out for season 3.

ATM, i have much too much time on my hands, so I'll be catching up on lots of Netflix shows.

Same here.. my self imposed "holiday " comes to an end Sunday
My 'work ' is disposing of my parents estate but have to confess as I said above this weather is very conducive to procrastination and watching tv
Sounds like some great series for me to watch

Yes, Counterpart was excellent. Will be interested to see if they can keep it up in a second series.

We are also watching
1.Tree with Deep Roots, a Korean historical series (though there are 24 or more episodes!). About a quarter of the way through and it's still engrossing.
2. Deadwind, a Finnish police drama. Started well but seems to have gone off a bit, too many red herrings and side stories.
