TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Yes but IMHO you don't need to unlike the MAFS people! :):)

Trigger Point is the new one.

That's the one - looks quite good. Although I must admit, Stan frustrates the bejesus out of me when they do drip feeds week by week. I want it now darn it!

Get thee to a VPN and watch via UKTV channels. NordVPN works well for UK channels BBC etc.

Ozark and The Sinner, and a new British show (of which the name escapes me with one of the cast of Line of Duty, but just released on Stan I think) are having to take a back seat at the moment to the hilariously tragic viewing that is MAFS.

I clearly have no shame, much like the contestants on MAFS.
Welcome to the dark side 🥳
Like a trip through a sewer in a glass bottom boat!!!

The show on STAN is Trigger Point written by Jed Mercurio (who also wrote Line of Duty). He is amazing having trained as a doctor and then answering an ad in British Medical Journal to fact check a TV show (Casualty I think). He never went back to medicine .

Dear MAFFers - what do we think about that pro-wrestler with the daughter and his ‘perfect match’? Interested in your take.
To others feel free to ignore my post…😂
I think that Selin is just not into him. He "looked" genuine so felt a bit sorry for him.
What I can't get over is the tattoos. It seems to be a mandatory requirement for this show and the more you have the better.
I really hope Dominica and Jack work they are my favourites so far

I agree re Tatts and Selin; however I find his apparent chivalrous respectful persona overbearing and I’d run!

We have just finished Dead Mountain on SBS. An 8 part series about a group of students who go on a ski hike into the Urals near Sverdlovsk. The episodes switch between the searchers lead by a KGB agent, who has flashbacks to WW2 and the trek to Berlin, flashbacks for others, the ski party and their adventures, and some of the Mansi people (a bit like the Sami in Finland).

I really enjoyed it for a look into the USSR in 1959, and quite an interesting story.

thanks - will add to list

Enjoying Lucifer and Manifest right now. No thinking required. Love the British accent of Lucifer and his Brit humour. MAFS? Nah, makes me want to take a cleansing shower after watching it. Not a cold one btw.
We did watch Manifest. It started well but got boring. In need of some serious editing IMHO and cut back to about half the episodes.
Stay Close on Netflix was much better.

Chosen is not bad. Nordic sci-fi.

and Hero, a “Persian“ film, winner of D’Or in 2021 is very good. Amazon or HBO I believe.

I did wonder if it went the way of Lost!

MAFFers are you out there?
I hope that loud Texan has gone for good.
Masterclass in manipulation - I really thought Holly deserved better (notwithstanding her verbal puffery)
She should just have a baby w Al.

I think Tamara can follow him out the door. I wish Sam would get into Al a little more.

Happy to see new epsiodes of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel drop this week.

Finally convinced my Dad to cancel over priced Foxtel, bought him the new chromescast which has a remote and stores the apps on the dongle, so no need to stream from a phone or tablet a couple of weeks ago. Got him to sign up to Kayo so he still gets the footy and set up profiles for him on all my streaming accounts. He has just started down the Netflix rabbit hole lol.
