On my flt. to states, I am attempting to just take one carry on bag this time.

I know I can't take a nail file, but are tweezers ok?
cheers,

They can be confiscated.Mrsdrron always has a pair-usually from a cheap Asian source costing no more than $2.For every 25 sectors approx she loses one at security.

Don't risk it! I've had them confiscated before. Nowadays I rely on the forks from the QP if I feel like jabbing someone in the eyes while they're making a beeline for the party pies! The forks are much more effective as a weapon than the tweezers.

But the forks aren't so good when you need to dig out a splinter!

How much do trees hate you if you're getting splinters capable of being dug out with a fork?!

Rex Hunt tried the QP fork trick and he came off second best. Leave the tweezers and buy a cheap pair when you need them.

Now I am worried, which airline am I likely to get splinters on? Maybe we should avoid them if there plane is made out of wood.
