UA PDL-UBN - on a B737

Reading the United expansion, it is even more interesting that they will start EWR-GOH (Nuuk, Greenland) on 737. I think that is even more exciting than flying to PDL:

I'd recommend PDL, by the way. Maybe I should do a trip report – visited in 2012 at a time when even Lonely Planet had next to nothing to say about the Azores. That was before Ryan Air sold cheap seats and the rise in tourism we see there today.

There was a connection years ago to Greenland via Canada. Very pricey, but it was short lived.

Unsure about infrastructure in Greenland supporting a large increase in tourists or workers (can they?) but I would have thought something like this a useful route for those wanting to avoid going via CPH or Iceland.

I wonder how many VA points this would be. The ability to redeem reward seats to Greenland would be enough to make me leave QFF... :p
