Looks like a typical Liverpool summer's day! (I grew up in a small seaside town about 20 miles away). Our first morning didn’t look promising but did clear in time for our Beatles Magical Mystery bus tour.
Thanks @MattA and apologies for the delayed reply. We were told about the national trust tour but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time. I really liked Liverpool. It had a such a nice and relaxed feel, especially after being in London where it was so busy.Looks like a typical Liverpool summer's day! (I grew up in a small seaside town about 20 miles away).
I think you've already left but if you're ever back there's a National Trust tour you can book on to go inside Paul and John's houses (you do have to book ahead though as there are limited spots): The Beatles' Childhood Homes | Liverpool
I've never been but my folks have and it was highly recommended (mum grew up very close to Paul's house on Forthlin Road around the same time he did so it was particularly appreciated by her).
Enjoying the TR. Keep it coming!
