Sounds good. I couldn't see that on the ETA page, but presumably it comes up when applying?free for over 70s and under 18s
That'd interesting. Well I guess I would get one for free based on age and citizenship.free for over 70s and under 18s
Dual citizens with a UK passport do not need an ETA.That'd interesting. Well I guess I would get one for free based on age and citizenship.
Just don't try transitting LHR without one...
Still can't find where it says free for over 70s.So maybe I should wait to apply as I will be 70 on May 2nd and we will be in Budapest on that day. We arrive in London on May 9th.
My brother who is over 70 has been bragging about it. I'm not. Yet.Dual citizens with a UK passport do not need an ETA.

I have really felt the physical impact this last year of being mid-70s. Now using dumbbells and resistance bands to offset a bit, but like you not bragging, just relieved I can still do as much as I do.My brother who is over 70 has been bragging about it. I'm not. Yet.

I can't find anything that states this. Brother thinks that you still need the ETA but not pay. It wants my passport when I try to apply and as I'm not 70 I can't test the theory.I have really felt the physical impact this last year of being mid-70s. There is nothing in the official documentation implying age exemption for the UK ETA.I have really felt the physical impact this last year of being mid-70s. Now using dumbbells and resistance bands to offset a bit, but like you not bragging, just relieved I can still do as much as I do.

Why? The UK is simply another foreign country. We should only allow their citizens to live here if it is to Australia's advantage. And they are entitled to take the same approach. We need to go back to the 60s when Brits and Aussies were free to live in each others counties without Visas.
Dads passport was British stamped on the cover even though he wasn't a Brit. Why? The UK is simply another foreign country. We should only allow their citizens to live here if it is to Australia's advantage. And they are entitled to take the same approach.
There appears to be no age based exemption on any official documentation I can find online. In fact, the Official Guidance document (attached) has this:Edit: If anyone finds a reference to free for over 70s, please post.
Each traveller must get their own ETA, including children and babies.
