Done and dusted......policy start date 16 March, points added to Qantas Assure App on 18 May and in my QFF account today (19 May)

Are people getting confirmation of telephone cancellation emails? I didn't after 30 hours now.

Hmmm... I cancelled at 16:45 on Tuesday 16th. Still no word...

Haven't had any written confirmation either, been almost 60 hours. I guess there is manual work to be done behind the scenes (or we are in the queue to receive a retention call..)

I'm happy to be retained.... for another 30,000 points after three months. :)

ditto for me - so I went back into the assure app and noticed my small ongoing points earn (daily activity) is now in "locked mode" because I "do not currently have an active policy" (or words to that effect) after cancelling through the automated telephone method. So it seems to have cancelled ok, but an email confirm soon as promised would be good for reassurance

got a phonecall from qf assure. missed the call, they didnt leave a message but looked up the number. (03) 9928 7277.

Ah yep same here. Mine also says I can "unlock" up to 3000 points by purchasing another policy. 3000 points for $10? Hmmmm...

My points still haven't appeared in the Assure app. I was told they can take 14 days to appear. I'm assuming they meant to be swept across to my QFF account. Either way I have to play the 2 week waiting game :S

Just cancelled mine through the automated service. I believe it was option 6 in the life insurance menu. It's after the existing policy option, which will put you thorough to a human so best avoided.

Cancelled this morning just after 9am through the automated service and had a missed call from Assure around 3:45pm. Didn't answer so I guess I will see how persistent they will be...

Points posted last week on the 16th. Didn't say where from but I assume it's Assure. Not bad for $21.78 :)

Now to call and cancel...

There is an automated cancelling service... Refer I think to about page 16 for the instructions :)
