How long do you need to keep the cover to get the points?
The points should post after 60 days. So, I'd say 61 days.

I did use the lowest minimum cover. Its probably because of my profession (nursing), high risk of injuries. Life insurance itself was cheap, but the added extra was expensive. Only need it for two months and get my points... worth the $74 for the 30,000 points I need.
Clues, please? How did you do that?
I attempted to sign someone up and wound up with something the size of a mortgage repayment as a monthly figure.
Backed out of that quickly!
can't complete it online. It will give you a quote reference number. Just need to bite the bullet, listen to the bulldust and go through with your exact quote.

I can't seem to get it to work online, no matter what I choose. It always makes me call up and I really can't be bothered with that. Anyone have any tips to be able to purchase it online?
Huh, most of the Ozbargain crew can complete it online. Wonder what makes us different?

the lowest I could get was just under 13$/month. The website did not work, thus, had to spend a bit of time on the phone, talking to a sale rep who wanted me to pay more. Looking forward to the 30KQFF, which will move me from Y to J in my next trip to SIN.Joined today, $6.90 per month! Now must remember to cancel the policy after 61 days
He said that I would be eligible for the points after 61 days of continuous coverage, but that the points could take up to 28 days to credit after this point. Either way, worst case scenario is that I pay for 3 months of coverage, costing a grand total of $42..
