I don't think we have all the facts in that story. If you read the other posts by that person in the thread you will notice the inconsistency in the story.

What inconsistencies would they be JohnK

Back on the VWP... I just returned from HNL so I have a US Customs stamp in my passport. I'll be going to LAX on the first A380 flight in August (and then basically coming straight home) and then going to SFO for a proper holiday (3 weeks) in November. Is it likely to raise any flags that I've entered the US on the VWP 3 times in less than a year (they're all for genuine tourist purposes), or shouldn't it cause any problems?

I get the feeling telling the Americans "I wanted to go on the first QF A380 trans-pac" isn't going to go down too well!

In three posts the friend swaps between a female and male identity. How could you make that type of error if the story is real?

I've done this and never been queried.

If they do query you, tell them the truth. It can't hurt. Besides via SFO is for a proper holiday.

JohnK, I think you will find I was referring to a friend (whom I referred to as he) who had his visa application refused by a female at the USA Embassy (whom I referred to as she), and then I think Mal was discussing a female who had been caught shoplifting etc.

no problems at all. I have had much more frequent VWP entries than 3 in a year. In fact I think I peaked at something like 14 in one year (better than once a month). No questions ever asked.

I was not referring to you Maca.

The inconsistency I mention has also been identified by serfty. If you read the relevant posts you too will have doubts in the story. If you re-tell an event you don't confuse your friend as a female and then a male in different posts. I am sure I posted something similar on that thread but for some reason the post is missing.
