Now if one is to cancel a flexi fare that was upgraded to J with pits how long does it take for the money to hit travel bank and for the points to return to my account?

If there's availability on an upcoming Perth trip I'm rebooking the leg I've already purchased so wifelet and I should see a cool 280 SC's each for the return trip

Just booked PER - SYD - CNS and managed to snag a J upgrade With points on the PER - SYD sector. That's now got my request done 6 months early and wife only needing 60 SC's for hers

I've spent some time trying to find a decent route for an upcoming Honeymoon that we haven't decided on a destination for and struggling to get any International destinations that aren't on partner metal.

Is there a list somewhere of what international airports VA service with their own flights? I'll be leaving from BNE (but obviously happy to connect)

I am going to be plotting over the next week , a few options , which will get me to retain Gold now . It was looking dismal a week or so ago , as I was going to struggle to get to silver by the end of April. There might be some good value $/SC if VA put on a Boxing Day sale . Yes - you will not find two more romantic places in the world than LAX and AUH to go honeymooning! But seriously - whomever was asking - Queenstown at any time of the year is more romantic than LAX/AUH in my opinion...

And I am still wondering why if you booked say SYD-HKG return in the promo period (you are booking on flight VA7991 Virgin Atlantic metal but VA flight number). Are they trying to say that VA7991 is not a Virgin Australia flight? Or are they saying that VA7991 is not an "eligble" Virgin Australia flight? If so - where is the list of what is and what isn't eligable?

Added complication - the day of my positioning flight to OOL is the first day of the Sydney Royal Easter Show so getting that day off as leave is not going to be easy.

TRA01 is working for me (at the moment anyway!) on flights PER-OOL return in March and April.

I've find it can be quite picky when it comes to date/route/fare class.

It did slice a chunk off my PER - SYD - CNS flexis last night
