Just got it too. Unfortunately still not enough to stop me going direct AMEX to Kris Flyer to get that SQ flight.

Goodness. Ive got 434,113 in an rewards to transfer. I am a little unnerved by the multiple of 2 in the terms and conditions. If one sets up auto redemption I am assuming that they only ever transfer across in multiples of 2 ?? Im up for a 80,000 bonus! :-) Want to make sure I do it right!!

That will be due to Redeem multiples of 2 Reward Points for 1 Velocity Frequent Flyer Point.

Personally this is much better than always having to transfer set "blocks" of points and suits me perfectly as I will use the 35% to clean out my account and then cancel the card.

I transferred a block of points from ANZ to Velocity on May 1, the initial credit to my Velocity account came with the 15% bonus, and another 15% bonus has been credited today (7th). If only I'd set up auto-redemptions for the extra 5%... next time!

I also got the extra 15% bonus points from my first transfer today. I also set up automatic transfer to send over as much as possible while I can. After the 30th of May they change the transfers between ANZ to Velocity from minimum 2 points transfer to 3000. But then again, might as well while we get extra points. They are going there anyway :)

I transferred all me point s from ANZ to VA on the 2nd.

The VA 15% posted with the points transfer, and second 15% from ANZ posted this morning.

Thank you ANZ

No to cancel the card.

Extra 15% posted on the 7th of May, 5 days after the initial transfer. Cracking deal! Will transfer the rest of my points at the end of the month. Great thing with ANZ rewards is the points accumulate in your account daily so don't have to wait for a monthly CC statement.

I saw this announcement in late April, and made the mistake of transferring all my MR points on 30 April thinking it would take 1-2 days to transfer to VA, so would be after 1 May.

While the points went through on 4th May, unfortunately VA used the date of the original request, and denied the 15% bonus.

D'oh! I was in Cuba from 1 April, so thought I was being smart by transferring before I lost internet access

Oh, what a bummer!

I set up auto redemption, will keep it until 31st of May, then take it away until the next promo. I am waiting for those 75,000 bonus points and I dont want to transfer them until they have a promo again, which I understand happens a couple of times a year.

Before 1st of June you can transfer as little as 2 points at a time, but after the rules are changing and you have to transfer at least 3000 points at a time.

I set up Auto redemption 2 days ago. Check Velocity account today, saw 96K ANZ Rewards points (inc. 75K bonus points earned earlier) transferred to Velocity:

VELOCITY TRANSFER from ANZ REWARDS AUTO 48000
2016 May 15% ANZ Rewards Auto Redeem Booster Offer 7200
2016 May 5% ANZ Rewards Auto Redeem Booster Offer 2400
2016 May 15% ANZ Rewards Auto Redeem Bonus 7200

So bonus 16800 VA points. Very happy.

So to do a final transfer on the 30th or 31st? Surely it will be fine on the 31st to get all of the bonuses?

Depends how quickly the points transfer. my amex MR points say it takes upto 3 days. Ended up taking about 2. Pretty sure the bonus is based on when the points arrive in account. I did get an email from VA to yesterday to confirm the credit amount with bonus. This was for a transfer initiated on Thursday.

Yea though on my Velocity account even though it took a couple of days to arrive the transaction was dated on the date of transfer from ANZ.

Edit: Which seems to reflect Roflcos experience above. Date of transfer matters not date they hit VFF account.

Thinking should do it on Monday just to be safe.

I did my Citi Prestige account today. Makes up for the discrepancy where Citi chose not to pay on something. I try hard not to phone them unless it is to get the book four nights and pay for three deal.

Just received an email saying Amex are extending the 15% bonus until 7th June. Might have been a targeted email, not sure

Received that email too. Maybe the uptake hasn't hit targeted/forecast numbers this time around?
