See if you can get confirmation from a previous deal because the recent double points promo my online booking credited but the Flight Centre one didn’t.

This just reminded me that I had a flight earlier this year booked via a work TA during the double points promo that hasn’t credited at all. Did you get a resolution?

I notice that my two under 18s in my family pool can’t register

How long does it take for a cancelled booking to leave their system? I just cancelled a flight, got my travel bank money and now want to re-book the same flights and when it went to payment it said their was a duplicate booking in the system.

Oh dear, I experienced the same issue previously where the website will not allow me to book the same flights again under the same name even after cancellation. In the end I had to call up for them to make the new booking using TravelBank.

Cheers. I'll give it a crack tomorrow and if it fails, i'll give them a call.

I had this problem a couple weeks back, and they booked it over the phone easily from Travel Bank. With that in mind, I cancelled on Wednesday the flights I wanted to re-book today, and had no similar problems.

Whow saw this this morning. So lucky. Was just checking my SC's.
My year is up end June. Straight into planning. Booked Perth-Darwin for May. Full economy. (head there every winter) You can always cancel full economy later if you can't go on that day, so nothing lost.
Now lets see where else I can go to maintain platinum!!

I did Raratonga in 2017 from Perth-Syd-AUK in Business. Huge amount of SC's even at single rate. But back via Auckland was horrendous. Arrived 1.30am Airport all shut. Cleaners in. Air NZ lounge didn't open til 4.30. (what lounge is it now with Virgin?) Passengers sleeping on bench seats in a cafe!!!!!
Did Perth-Vanuatu Business Nov 2018.
Anyone going to Europe-Will be a big win.

6 sectors booked two days ago. Never mind, more coming up soon.

Mind you, all I am shooting for is a guest plat for my wife.

I'm platinum and so is my partner. My date is June and his is January. If either of us havn't flown enough and arn't quite there with the 800 sc's per year we plan ahead, and the other makes sure the numbers are there via family transfer.
Honestly can't see why I'd try to get up to 1600 sc's for a guest platinum as well (is that what it is?)unless your wife doesn't fly at all.You can just pass the excess over to her membership prior to you flighting.
Just puzzled, maybe it works for you.
Certainly worth making sure your assessment dates are a long way apart. definitely not at the same time. Would be very tricky then. (Could that happen if you qualify for a guest platinum?)

Not really as it's Virgin Australia metal only. :(

Damn!!!!!. Partner was thinking of cancelling his Singapore air Perth to Barcelona Business April Trip. and rebook. Thanks for the info.

My wife doesn’t fly much, but when she does I would like her to get the multiplied points she gets with higher status. At the moment she has a Red, so no multiplier. I may be missing something though.

Can't see any restrictions on booking source so I guess via AMEX travel will count.

Just booked the next 6 months of flights. My bank account is filing for divorce.
