Velocity family pooling

You can, if you can get the timing right cancelling the pooling.

Arrghhh! I am a perfect example of how critical the timing must be to rearrange the pooling:

Just missed out on 80 SC when daughter flew to the States. I'd already lost the first 40 and only remembered to change the account on the day of her return journey. Trouble was, I'd forgotten the time difference would affect the activity date, so we received zip. My bad.

80 precious SC are now languishing in her low functioning account and will probably die a natural death in 12 months...........insert sad face here.
 
You're not the only one that has made this mistake. The time difference is critical. I am currently in the USA with my wife and I had all sort of issues trying to get her to Platinum without wasting SC's. The only thing that saved us was we got more points for a couple of legs that I had allowed for.

Didn't think they would, would have been handy if they had, points wise have already qualified for silver, just need some VA flights, got a return from MEL coming up and a trip to Japan in Feb which will qualify me for Gold if I can get the VA flights somewhere, see what other trips I can organise.
