Velocity Shop and (NOT) earn

Same here, our PO Box is the preferred postal address on both our Velocity profiles. There have been numerous incidences of mail theft in our area as well, hence we got the PO Box some time ago. We NEVER give out our home address for mail, or for parcels if we can avoid it as there's nowhere a parcel can be left that isn't visible from the street (yet ANOTHER reason for the PO Box!!).
So let me get this right, you are concerned that this mail (which you don't actually want) might get stolen?

I'm hoping that's meant to be sarcasm? Nothing to do with that at all - as I said in another post, we have a PO Box for personal/privacy reasons (not just with regards mail being stolen, and I have no intention of going into those reasons on a public forum) and due to the same concerns, we rarely ever give out our home address unless absolutely necessary. Therefore I'm extremely unimpressed that Velocity, who have our postal address on record, would just merrily hand out our home address to a third party who could easily end up passing it onto another company and on it goes - once an address is on a mailing list, it's like a Hydra, no matter how many heads you cut off (so to speak), it pops up somewhere else.

Oops! Looks like I spoke too soon. Trying to login to the eStore just now and I keep getting

It appears that the page /content/ELogin/index.html does not exist!
It may have moved, or it may no longer be available.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Good response this morning:

This was caused by an issue which Velocity is having with a new IT product it is using to manage marketing communications. The tool cannot identify the Preferred Address flag and therefore it defaults to the first available address which in this case was your Home Address. The campaign management team are aware of the issue and are investigating a fix for this issue.

In the interim, would you like to be unsubscribed from receiving any marketing materials via post?

Kind regards

Good response this morning:

Well, at least they've responded with an explanation - but how on earth does someone come up with an IT product to be used for the purpose of marketing communications (i.e. mail-outs) which can't manage to pick up the "preferred address" flag?

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Has anyone here purchased shoes from Volley via the Velocity E Store ?
I purchased the shoes on Sunday, 2nd Oct, 630pm, and up to now has not received a purchase confirmation email from Velocity, nor a transaction activity on my Velocity account.

I've not shopped with Volley, but with eBay it can take 5 days for me to get the purchase confirmation. Same with Petstock, Surfstitch, Booktopia etc. :)

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn

Thanks for the reply Grimace1 :)
I guess i will have to be patient.
I am rather keen on purchasing books from Booktopia too since there is a very good bonus points offer happening now.
