Not sure if targetted, but got email from Velocity. Transfer from flybuys by 10 Mar for 15% bonus.

These seem to becoming regular occurrences

There is frequently a bonus offer on the table so no need to transfer unless you really want.

My wife spent ~$2300 in February at coles across 4 seperate transactions. However upon enacting the 15% bonus the points have come across but only 2 Status Credits?

By my calculations it should be 10 SC's? (Maximum of 10SC's per month)

Thoughts?

Hi there, the eligible spend to earn Status Credits excludes tobacco and tobacco related products, charity donations and gift card purchases. Might this explain the discrepancy?

I received that email back in July. That particular promotion finished 3 months ago.

But, as oz_mark points out, there is a current promotion that offers 15% bonus for transferred Flybuys points.

This April, receive 100 bonus Velocity Points for every 2,000 flybuys points you transfer to Velocity!*

From memory, 2,000 Flybuys points normally equates to 870 Velocity points. 100 bonus points would make it 970 Velocity points.

My rough calculations make it to be about an 11% bonus. Not quite the 15% of previous promotions but I guess that any bonus is better than no bonus!

I received Velocity email for 15% transfer between 16-31 July. Unfortunately I currently have less than 1000 flybuys. This card does not receive many useful boosters which would help. Currently in 2nd week of 4 x spend for 10,000 flybuys. The 4th week commences on Monday 30 July. Even if I spend on 30 July it's unlikely points would post in time.
My brother who family pools to me currently has approx 18,000 flybuys but he did not receive the 15% offer.

Just transferred 16k flybuys to velocity with 15% I didn’t do the 10k points in 4 weeks, but was offered $70 for 5600 which were posted a day later. Not bad considering I still had 10k from a previous points targeted offer that I hadn’t converted

I usually get them 1-2 days later, so may be good to check
