On Sunday 19 December 2021, VN773 (2110 hours SGN - SYD, B78X VN-A872) took off at 2212 so on Monday 20, forecast arrival becomes 1013 hours, 63 minutes behind the timetable. Presumably due to COVID-19 crew rosters, this aircraft is to overnight in Sydney.
 
Thursday 24 February 2022 has seen B789 VN-A866 arrive in SYD at 0952 hours, 42 minutes tardy, as VN773 from SGN down to SYD overnight.

However the return VN772 (1140 hours ex SYD) is not expected to depart until 1430 mid afternoon.
 
Saturday 26 February 2022 saw VN787 (B789 VN-A868, the very late night 2340 hours HAN down to SYD) take off at 0005 (only about five minutes tardy) but on Sunday 27, expected arrival has become 1325, 70 minutes behind.
 
On Monday 7 March, VN772 (B789 VN-A868) took off at 1252 hours from SYD, just under an hour late, with suggested arrival becoming 1649, 34 minutes down.
 
VN772 (Friday 1 April 2022, the 1115 hours SYD to SGN with A359 VNA899) took off at 1216 so arrival was an estimated 1642, 32 late.
 
On Monday 11 April 2022, VN772 (1115 hours SYD - SGN with A359 Vn-A889) was airborne at 1231, resulting in gate arrival at an expected 1725 hours, 75 minutes behind schedule. Going back, on Friday 8, the most recent previous date, the flight arrived 110 minutes late.
 
A359 VN-A897 was two minutes early arriving at SYD on Monday 2 May as VN773 from SGN but the returning VN772 (the 1015 hours) was not in the sky until 1156 so gate arrival at 1710 hours, an hour late, is the expectation.
 
VN772 (Thursday 19 May, the 1015 hours midmorning SYD - SGN, A359 VN-A899, which also did the flight on 16 May) took off at 1237 so arrival at 1759, 109 minutes late is the likelihood.
 
A359 VN-A899 on VN772, the late night 2340 hours HAN - SYD on Friday 27 May did not take off until 0125 hours on Saturday 28, so expected arrival becomes 1336 hours, 81 minutes tardy. This will delay the returning VN786, the 1415 hours by at least 45 minutes in pushback.
 
VN773, the 2130 hours Saturday 24 DEcember SGN-SYD (A359 VNA899) took off at 2224 so on Christmas Day, arrival should be at 1041 hours, 51 minutes late.
 
Friday 6 January 2023 sees A359 VNA896 on VN780, the 1125 hours late morning MEL-SGN up up and away at 1245. Arrival at gate should be 68 late at 1643 hours mid to late afternoon local time.
 
A359 VN-A894 is on the Tuesday 10 VN773 from SGN down to SYD. This 2130 hours flight was up up and away at 2226 hours with Wednesday 11 arrival suggested as 1035, 45 minutes behind the timetable.
 
Sunday 11 June 2023 has A359 VN-A895 on VN772, the 1015 hours SYD-SGN in the sky at 1229 hours, just in time for lunch. Arrival looks to be around the 1804 hours mark, 114 minutes late.

Single (east-west) runway operations in Sydney on Sunday 9 July 2023's morning have not helped VN772, the 1015 hours SYD-SGN operate punctually.

A359 VN-A895 did not take off to the west until 1137 hours, so estimated at gate arrival in Saigon becomes 1719 hours, 69 late.
 
A359 VN-A890 on VN781, the 2105 hours mid evening redeye from SGN to MEL on Sunday 16 July 2023 took off at 2239. Monday 17 gate arrival in MEL is shortly at 0937 hours, 62 behind. The 1035 hours VN780 back to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City will be delayed in pushback until at least 1115 hours.
 
Monday 9 September 2024 sees VN772 (1015 hours midmorning SYD-SGN, A359 VN-A890) airborne at 1140 with gate arrival likely at 1658 hours, 48 minutes behind schedule.
