On Monday 14 January 2019, VN781 from SGN to MEL is with a large number of other aircraft holding on approach, so it will be more than half an hour late arriving past its 0925 scheduled arrival. VNA895 is the A359.

It seems however MEL is closed for inbounds: may be a problem with a runway.

Thankfully the holding pattern west of Kerang was brief but it pushed VN781 from SGN to MEL above half an hour late, with Thursday 17 January 2019 arrival for A359 VNA895 likely at about 1010, 45 late.

It was approaching runway 16 but at about Mickleham it then did a left turn and landed using runway 27. Maybe a previous aircraft was slow in exiting the runway?
