Monday 10 July sees VN772 (1015 hours SYD - SGN that took off at 1100, B789 VN-A867) likely to arrive at 1649 hours, 74 minutes late.

B789 VN-A862, the 2130 hours Sunday 23 July SGN - MEL that was in the sky at 2235 should arrive at 0922 on Monday 24, 47 minutes late. VN780 should only be marginally late departing from Melbourne as this roster has a greater than minimum turnaround with timetabled departure at 1035, a wise policy for any international airline if available flight slots allow a bit of a buffer on the ground.

On Saturday 12 August, VN781 (B789 VN-A868, the overnight SGN down to MEL) should arrive at 0939 hours, 64 late.

Later on 12 August 2017, VN772, the 1015 hours mid morning SYD - SGN that was airborne at 1203 (B789 VN-A863) looks to be 85 minutes late with a 1700 hours latish afternoon arrival estimated in Vietnam.

VN781, the overnight SGN to MEL (B789 VN-A962) looks to be arriving at 1016 hours, 101 minutes late on Monday 2 October 2017. As VN780 back to SGN is not timetabled to depart until 1135 hours, it may be able to push back more or less on time, again showing the value of longer than minimum turnarounds for international airlines.

Tuesday 3 October 2017 has VN781 (2120 Monday evening from SGN to MEL that took off early at 2123 hours with B789 VN-A871) arriving at a forecast 0924 hours, 49 minutes late as it looks to have been slowed down by ATC due to 'traffic.'

VN787 (2355 hours Friday 13 October HAN - SYD, quite a new and welcome nonstop route given the attractions of Hanoi's old town and Sapa) that took off at 0306 with B789 VN-A864 should arrive on Saturday 14 at 1554, 159 minutes behind schedule. The thrice weekly returning flight VN786 has a later timetable on Saturdays so in theory if all goes well, its scheduled 1650 hours pushback may occur at 1715 or so.

Once again, this shows the value to international airlines (if airport slots are available and other variables fall into place) of having greater than minimum turnaround times built into the timetables.
