Vinomofo Wine Deals

Is the Empyrean worth the extra over the Bos?

For me yes, no big difference between the Reserve and Bos. Though an improvement with the RSR 2012 and step up with the Empyrean 2014.

EDIT: Note that the 'worth it' statement is improved at the discounted rate via the VM deals at the time.

Shiraz 2019 – Black Market Deal #48199 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia

This is identified on VM Uncovered as St John's Road Blood & Courage Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019

I only mention it here as an example of misleading VM hype:
Halliday Approved Barossa Shiraz 2019
“Fragrant and fruity, this is a bright young Barossa shiraz that bursts with blueberry, blackberry and mulberry fruit. Subtle milk chocolate oak and supple tannins.”
– James Halliday

The actual TN and score is:
St John's Road Blood & Courage Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019

From 2 vineyards, in Gomersal and Ebenezer. Matured 15 months in 15% new French oak hogsheads. Fragrant and fruity, this is a bright young Barossa shiraz that bursts with blueberry, blackberry and mulberry fruit. Subtle milk chocolate oak and supple tannins back a sweet finish. Crowd friendly, if a little pumped up with sweetness.

Hardly "Halliday Approved".

Can anyone shed light on the Reschke wines that VM seem to have been flogging constantly for the last 6 months or so? Is the Empyrean Cab Sav 2014 worth the pricetag? I can't manage to find anthing outside VM that substantiates the quality of the wine. A has-been winery dumping old stock or a good buy?
Personally loved the Empyrean 2014, but the RSR did nothing for me. My Vivino Empyrean & RSR reviews below:
