Is the Emperyean worth the extra over the Bos?
I think it depends how you like your Cab.
I find the empyrean is slightly thicker, sweeter (almost Shiraz-like). We did a blind tasted and taught it was Shiraz.

I personally really enjoyed Empyrean.
I also really enjoyed RSR - this is more Cab like. Still good quality.

In comparison to Bos, you can prob taste the difference between the 3.
Bos --> RSR --> Empyrean (best).

Hopefully this helps.

Out of curiosity, what vintage of Empyrean did you taste?

How about the comparison of Empyrean and The Lear? I know they are different varietals but both have the price dropped right now. Also is there any discount around.....?

Empyrean over The Lear.

I had The Lear last weekend. It needs more time I'm the cellar.

By the way, where did you find the codes?
It's referral codes which should probably be in the referral thread
Wow, I've never looked at the VM referral thread before... it's fascinating. How would you choose which of the numerous ppl offering a code to go with?
the more recent ones are more likely to be valid :)

Nightfall or Empyrean? [nm: Empyrean seems to be sold out]
