Vinomofo Wine Deals

I actually didn't go much on it to be honest, and seeing it turn up in a mixed case possibly indicates that a few might have felt the same way? Was ok for $15 but would no way in hell pay $50 for it....just my 2c

A lot riding on your taste buds.;)

The offer is tempting and seems worth the investment but 12 bottle deals I generally try to avoid (the whole 'I really want to try something different') and am leaning towards the latest winter warmer deal, simply for the variety factor.

Quite the conundrum....

No biggie! If you don't like it sent it back.

Vm has thrown up plenty of seriously good wines that I would never buy at normal rrp... for me this all started last year when my brother said wanna go halves on something called glenlofty shiraz....well, twenty five dozen more....at least..and I can appreciate a seriously undervalued wine. Willoughby in west oz, same again.
And to me, it seriously begs the question, after a forty dollar retail price, is something at one twenty three times as good as a forty dollar wine. Interesting conundrum for all. All I know is that good is good.......and sometimes, good has the wow factor. You simply cannot go to Danny m's and buy the quality that vm have on offer for under twenty three a bot. At the normal retail of course. Enough of the hyperbole, I am enjoying a roger harbord 2010 merlot and it is remarkable. Bought it on grays, bought 48, that good, and again, good is good....i must finish by saying in vino, veritas

Finally opened a bottle of Merindoc...don't know how to describe it but it's a bit meh, kinda like the '11 Cape Mentell cab sauv I had before. I can see the potential in both but it's probably need a bit of cellaring.

I got a bottle of this in a mixed case and was scared to open it so it is in the cooking wine pile. Interested to drink it now.

I got an email from their customer relations team saying the Glenlofty was further delayed (it was always going to ship after the 16th) to ship next monday. Someone from work also had issues with their delivery. Must be having some logistical issues. Oh well, no one is going to starve or die of thirst!

Mine arrived on Saturday morning. I wish I ordered more :( Pepper/allspice. Dried herbs. Really luscious. This one punches way above its weight.

You referring to the straight Cab Sauv from Cape Mentelle - Leading Margaret River Winery Must say I'm a bit surprised that a $20 wine from VM would be equivalent to a $70+ stalwart of Aussie Cab Sauv. 2011 was supposed to be a good year for WA Cab Sauv as well

I guess taste buds do vary. I think the wine is fantastic and it has it's pedigree for a reason! Still have a couple of the 2010 in my cellar, also fantastic.

Willoughby Park Kalgan River Albany Shiraz. Has been offered before but haven't tasted.

Had some yesterday at a friend's place. Better than what I remembered from visiting Willoughby Park and a worthwhile investment. He didn't think much of it when he opened it a couple of days beforehand but reckoned it was much better now.
