Vinomofo Wine Deals

Interested to hear any thoughts on the Glenlofty Shiraz Viognier. I received mine today, cracked a bottle tonight & so far it's pretty underwhelming - very different to the straight Shiraz. Hoping things change over the next few hours, but interested to hear if it's just me!

I haven't received mine yet...will be looking forward to hearing the opinions of this wine.

Hi Guys! New to here, long time buyer at Vinomofo.
Can't believe all the information on here!
(I've previously been a click and hope buyer - not all that bad when you are a poor uni student and are looking for decent bottles of Red for $10-15)
I also think I started getting VIM emails around the 1k mark I think
Matt

Oh my, today's secret deal Cab Sav changed from 95 points Wine SPECTATOR to 95 points Wine SHOWCASE. Bit of a difference there! :)

Sounds like VM might want to do more fact checking before publishing.

Probably Haselgrove Protector.
NOTE: Just a haste thought without any serious checking. :)

If politicians and journalists dont see fit to check their facts, is it any wonder wine sites don't. Mark this down as a general disrepect for the truth in general society!

Hmmmmmmmm
......deserves the obvious taster very soon. This is the one everyone should give their thoughts on over this weekend....no excuses please.

Yep, I'd love an update from others. I'll have another glass tonight to see if there's any improvement, otherwise it may be a return for me (notably my first).

On Ozbargain I saw 2003 Krug on Vinomofo. Anyone have any thoughts?

Good if you can afford it. 2003 was an unusually early harvest. Chardonnay content down to 25% (generally 40-45%). Similar Pinot Meunier content with Pinot Noir making up the balance.

Thanks!

Anyone in Perth want to go halves?

Hi I'm a new comer here. Tasted the Glenlofty Shiraz Viognier last night. Very unique wine, clearly not for every palate. But after proper decanting I really enjoyed it. Strong vanilla nose and some of the smoothest tannin I tasted in a while. Should improve heaps with age. Keen to hear other comment. Cheers.
