Vinomofo Wine Deals

Apologies if someone's solved this one before: the Secret Deal Coonawarra Cabernet 2012 for $12.50 that just came out. Any ideas?

I get the feeling that the current Black Market Pinot Noir and Chardonnay may come from the same winery, no idea what that is though, not enough to go on.

Any guesses for the 2010 magnum offered today for $64?

My first vinomofo order arrived today. The black market Pinot Noir was Greenbanks Pinot Noir 2012, Austins Wine, Geelong.

Noticed today they are offering the 2006 Chapman Grove Atticus Chardonnay. As many know, 2006 was a cool vintage for Margaret River. Having said that, I've had this wine on two occasions in the last few months. It is an excellent wine IMFO. From my tasting group the following notes...
Chapman Grove Atticus 2006. From the coolest year in a long time. Yellow gold in colour, with burnt toffee, struck match and flint. Almost champagne like. For me, all of these descriptors would indicate an older wine, but many in the group felt this was too young. The words ‘balance’ and ‘finesse’ were brought out again.
Any way, just a heads up an opinion about this wine. Value for money at the price being asked.

Thanks for that, I ordered some this morning and was hoping it would be good :)

Hi there. Does anyone know what this yesterday's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is? $50 to $22.50.

I'm not having any luck with my search.

Thanks!

Not sure, but I've taken a punt and bought 6. Let me know if you find out before I do and I might buy some more.

My pleasure. In my opinion, this is better than good. An excellent wine really and just shows that even in difficult vintages great wine can be made.

Thanks for your opinion. Just ordered a box (with 50 mins to go). Hopefully I will enjoy it as much as you do, and they can repeat the offer, since they say they bought the whole 2006 stock.

Only problem is, that delivery is by Nexday, which means next week, or more likely the week after.:(

Enjoying the Braydun Hills Reserve Shiraz 2008 which came today. $11.20 a bottle down from $25, really nice. Easily tastes like a ~$30 bottle of wine. :)

Kicking myself for missing out on this one. I didn't jump on it as I'd already bought a case of sixfootsix and didn't want another potential quaffer but this is meant to be a great drop! Rang up one of the 'wine brokers' to see if they'll put it on again but they've already sold out of it. :(
