I don't know winespeak but it is a typical cool climate shiraz probably similar to Langi cliff edge shiraz, seems to have quality oak and needs a good decanter. As stated the cork version has developed a lot earlier than the screw so smoother and more integrated. Beautiful mix of dark and red fruits and only lightly spiced. Even similar to a young chalambar shiraz but not as heavy or spicy on the palate. I had with teriaki chicken stir fry and matched well. The stand out is the quality of the oak. Hope that helps. I used to be a fan of big barossa shiraz but over the years have swung toward cool climate lighter styles of which this one fits the bill nicely. Also become very attached to McLaren Vale reds recently. (different fruit spectrum to Barossa) I guess palates change as you age. If I compared to say the 2011 glenlofty shiraz the glenlofty seems heavier and overoaked to my palate but still enjoyable after aeration (maybe less quality oak or staves or chips used) and I think thats why a lot of the punters prefer the Glenlofty SV as the V makes it a lot more mellow wine.can you give us a little winedrinkers review about the lunatiq as many are fond of it and I am yet to try. possibly in comparison to a neighbour as well. cheers
