Vinomofo Wine Deals

Cracked open the 2014 Maverick last night. Boy that packs quite a punch. Will continue the bottle tonight so will be interesting to see if it has mellowed out.

I opened mine on Wednesday night, and had the rest of the bottle last night. It had opened up beautifully by then. Really good drop, it's just a pity I didn't have any of the previous vintage so I could do a comparison.
 
It seems my Maverick GSM has gone missing - Nexday say they delivered it yesterday (left in alcove at my front door, not visible from the street) but it wasn't there when I got home :-(

Any ideas how to approach this with Vinomofo, or has anyone dealt with this issue in the past? I've sent Vinomofo an email because their phone number is constantly busy! Is there another number to get them on?

Edit: I've had dozens of deliveries (mof_s, other wine, eBay stuff, etc) to this address and none have gone missing before - very pissed off!

I had a similar experience via using the tracking system on Vinomofo. Said it was delivered in the morning, didn't show, so was trying to ring Nexday but was after office hours. The wine turned up the next morning. They sub contract out locally (I live regionally) and perhaps don't have an established communication system with their subbies? Give it 24 hours, you might be in luck!
A mate also had problems in that the courier didn't leave a note or the wine at his address, so the case just sat at their distribution site for WEEKS. That's right, it took that long to resolve, he contacted Vinomofo at least 3 times through various channels. He received a $9 voucher for his troubles...
 
Had same issue last week, 2 cases to be delivered. 1 box arrived. vinomofo tracking said both delivered. arrived the nex day..

Just received the Maverick GSM 14. comparing to Ulithorne GSM 13. Maverick packs bit more punch/darker berries vs Ulithorne lighter/'creamier'.
both excellent esp for the price - Ulithorne probably pips the maverick (which was served much warmer though)

I'll drink both any day

Nexday say it was delivered and sent the photo (proof of delivery) to Vinomofo, who forwarded it to me. It is a photo of the wine at SOMEONE ELSE'S FRONT DOOR, so I've gotten back to Nexday and explained this, they are checking with the driver and GPS records. A secondary issue is that there's another Nexday delivery on the way to me today (Winemarket this time: current status is "With driver") so I'm hoping that doesn't go astray as well!

I should have received two Vinomofo deliveries this week. Per instructions, the case of Helen and Joey pinot noir was left at the door earlier in the week. Yesterday I received a calling card in place of the Maverick GSM. Seems pretty random.

Unfortunately Nexday are hopeless.

Put is in writing on their facebook site. They usually respond to messages very quickly on that forum.

Nexday has been pretty good (or i'm just lucky).. only had the one incident.

what do you think of the Helen Joey Pinot? seriously thinking getting a case but haven't pulled the trigger just yet...

No issues at all with Nexday; they know where to hide my orders, and usual deliver early in the day.
