Vinomofo Wine Deals

Credit was apparently only for new purchasers.

I emailed them about it. Seemed pretty misleading.

You'd think then that they wouldnt send it to email addresses that are already registered. Pretty poor.

The Patrick is amazing at the price. One of the best sub $20 deals on VM ever. Thank God so few people drink Riesling and they can keep restocking it.

I hope the VM team are feeling lucky as you know what happens when you cross a black cat?

Big trouble!

On a serious note, had they actually given me the credit they told me I'd received, I'd have looked at buying something. But they didn't, so my purse stays closed.

If anyone's interested in my VM "incident" followup - someone else did get in contact a week later to say that there was no "call this morning from the courier saying the wine was broken", their new story was that it was damaged in their own warehouse. I suspect that they still sold something they never had, as it was cancelled within hours of the order, rather than at the picking stage. They've given me a credit of $9 as compensation.

I added up all the orders with VM from 1/1/2015 through to 2016, and it totalled a tad over $15K - or about $250/week on average, so I don't know why they think I'm worried about $9 here or there. They acknowledged that the winery still had stock, but they couldn't offer it to me (surely you can get out your corporate CC and just order a case? or maybe I'm just delusional about my importance to their business)

Anyway, have boycotted them since 8th Feb - will just have to see if my willpower holds out :)

Makes QANTAS look good - I (or work) throw $15K/year to them, and I get status and lounges and stuff. Obviously VM have a different model.

Your doing ok, I was throwing 90-100k a month to QF and got nothing in addition to my own status from my own flights flights (apart from lots of Aquire points... )

I had an issue with misleading info at a website based auction house also selling end and wine fridges, I settled and was substantially rewarded. No Gray areas allowed. I'd push it, can't hurt. Just be prepared

Oh no. Someone dising vinomofo. That won't be allowed. Many here believe vinomofo can never do any wrong and won't be told otherwise.

I give it 5 minutes before you're told to take your criticism elsewhere or that you're just plain wrong!

The reality is that Vinomofo often engages in misleading and deceptive conduct.

No, 100k spend - flying lots of employees about

Not insignificant, to be fair, but my previous employers (like Accenture) were throwing much more to get CL for the senior execs. I guess QFF is about 'bums on seats' ultimately. At least they have a program to recognize those that direct spend.
