Vinomofo Wine Deals

The most interesting observation I've made about VM over 2016 is the relatively large increase in Reds from McLaren Vale and decrease from the Barossa. I've not purchased from them in a while.

It seems like they've bought Mitolo (or repossessed their cellar?), and they're definitely heavy on the McLaren Vale Reds recently. Not that I'm complaining, on both flavour profile & bang for buck I've always preferred McLaren Vale over the Barossa.

Maybe AnonymousCoward behind it. Sick of going to his spreadsheet with people asking about old VM posts :)
AC is not redundant. VM Deal Tracker gives a "WTF is this wine" for

Haha. And that's one of the ones I reckon is worth buying :)
Just a hint please AC...I must say I don't want to buy any, but it will be good if you say so. I'm in it just for the game, but I reckon it's a brand we've seen many times. The VM clue about a nursery rhyme is the answer, but my parents only used to read the Australian financial review to me....instead of counting sheep, I was doing Fibonacci sequences.

Are you MAD Mr Hatter? :p

Ordered this today as a complete speculator for Mrs Rugby who knows her NZ Pinots. Will let you know how it goes.

This one arrived during the week and is the Northburn Station 2011. It's an okay Pinot Noir quaffer, but a little sweet. I can't recommend it at ~$20.

Funny seeing this random influx of mad hatter purchases. It's been sitting there quite often for the good part of 2 months now. I suspect Beefarmer has been making his rounds, breaking thermometers to get to that sweet, sweet Hg.

In the other side of my scone, I couldn't think of the Mad Hatter, and yes, it's a very nice wine. It has been up very regularly indeed. I bought a sixer last month after a credit wine return. Very satisfied with it.

By the way, the Vinmofo 2013 Maverick The Red SGM and the 2013 111 Assoc Th Legacy are 2 v special wines in my opinion (for good reasons!).
I'll have to post some tasting notes.

Hatter is great although I've stuck my remaining 5 away and wont be returning to them for a few years. Need some time.

Thanks for the reply AnonymousCoward. I really do suck at searching this thread...

I'm guessing it could be the 2015 vintage of Haselgrove Cul Stor?

Latest contrabland deal (2015 Margaret River cabernet merlot) looks like Miles from Nowhere - 95 points at Cowra and RQ wine shows.

The winery's web site only has the 2012 and 2013 listed.
