Vinomofo Wine Deals

Thanks RB, I'm not a Lions Den member but can access it if required.

It's worth joining for the $20 welcome credit to make already [post=1469159]cheap wine[/post] even more so, including [post=1491780]pinot[/post] [post=1503564]noir[/post] :)

qaz, the only thing stopping me is that I don't know how to join. I though it required an invite?

no one has mentioned the VIM deal? I thought the 2015 Innocent Bystander Syrah would have been all over this thread
Steady you can buy it for $20 from Different Drop and myCellars so its not really a deal from VM. Cheers

Oh, sorry I misunderstood (I was looking for a link to signing up to The Den when I followed the links )

Just to get it completely straight, is the Lion's Den open to the 'great unwashed' or only "A Lion initiative for Lion Staff, Family and friends"?

I must say I agree Rug, I didn't think that it was one of VM's blockbuster offers with that kind of price drop (no matter how good it is!)

Just had my broker on. They now have (via brokers only at the mo), the Maverick Twins 2015 GSM and cab blends. Wozza, I know from your Vivino contributions you're a fan of the GSM earlier vintages.

What are the prices this time around?

General consensus I recall for GSM is that everything except 2014 was very good. Not tried mine yet. 2012 and 2013 - no complaints, especially at that price point.

I'm not sure that the general consensus on the 14 was poor. I recall some returned it because it was too 'pepperly' for their liking, but I seem to recall there were just as many who quite liked it, me included. Funnily enough, the 14 has the best score of the 3 on vivino.

Long-term Den members can invite new members, there seems to be a limit though and maybe an annual allocation. That's how I got in, via a long-term member who used to share buys with me. Newer members haven't been given an invite allocation yet.
Or you need to know someone who works for Lion Nathan or has an account with them.

Sorry, I thought that when you said that you could access it, that you had already been invited...

Unfortunately I can't invite others myself - if nobody else here can help, but you're a Winefront subscriber, then perhaps nicely ask the kind people [post=1500812]there[/post] :)

My access is via a fellow AFFer who has generously offered to order for me, if I ever want something from The Den.
