I've had the '03, '04, '05, '06 and '09 Shiraz over the past 18-24 months. It's your big SA Shiraz, done well. I am a fan (as is Robert Parker). I bought the 2013 - at $15/bottle you can't really go wrong if you like big Shiraz. Only question will be whether it's drinkable now.

Heard that Shirvington is going out of business, so might be a few more bargains available. Does explain the various back vintages that came onto the market recently.

The '08 Cab and Shiraz Shirvingtons are up now on VM. I've picked up a 6 pack of the '08 Shiraz which seems to rate well on Vivino. I was told by my broker that they're just about to put up the '07 vintages of each too.

Got the free shipping for a year also. Will come in handy with those ones I would usually wait on free shipping for, then miss out. I would say over 75% of the wines I buy are when free shipping is on, so wont save me a bundle.

I was interested in this one also when I saw it and read the tasting notes. Saw that Red and a few others purchased so I boomed also. 2016 is supposed to be a ripper vintage in the Vale. Can always return it!
