Vinomofo Wine Deals

Looks to be called Swinney Ingenue Riesling as that is the only one that has been rated 95 points by JH as is stated in the note - unless they have changed the label name. No Tirra Lirra Riesling has been awarded 95 points previously
It does look like they've changed the label, no Ingenue listed for sale on their website. Also the 95 points is from Ray Jordan but all I could find from him was that score for their Shiraz....

Today's VIM Black Market Syrah 2013 seems to be Ansted Co. North Harcourt Vineyard Syrah. $35 down to $18.50.
Notes from JH are "A range of techniques: whole bunches, extended maceration, destemmed, open-fermented and basket-pressed, 15 months maturation in used French puncheons. Full, bright colour; the bouquet is decidedly complex, with spice and roast meat aromas, the full-bodied palate reflecting the extended maceration component more than the whole bunches. A complex, challenging wine with an unknowable future." Rated 96.

'Dr Ralph! You deserve better. Here's free shipping, just for you. 5 hours only.

Let's get straight to it, Dr Ralph. We're worried that your wine stocks may be dwindling. We despair at the thought of you going thirsty on Wednesday nights or (shock, horror) having to pay bottle shop prices, all because you failed to plan ahead by a couple of days. Put your minds at ease and buy some wine, safe in the knowledge that you're getting the best price on very good wine, with our mof_ 100% Satisfaction Guarantee backing you up as always. Love, the mof_ Wine Team.'

Just received this email.

Given how ubiquitous free shipping is, I certainly don't feel tempted.

But perhaps I should be more worried by this claim: 'We're worried that your wine stocks may be dwindling'!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can confirm this is Swinney Tirra Lirra 2017 Riesling Great Southern

Interesting it is not labled Franklin River, rather Great Southern, and the back lable has very little information on the wine.

I bought the 2015 Tucks Ridge Pinot for 22.50. I've had one which was good (don't have TN's). The rest I will cellar. Good get at 22.50.
I also shared a case of the Buckle but it was 2014. I haven't tried but I have tried an earlier vintage and recall that I liked it. I wouldn't pay $100 but I did pay $50. 2013 was a good year for MP Pinot.

For those who don't mind a blend, bought a carton of this Vinomofo - Black Market Deal Malbec Blend 2016 - Red Wine a month ago. This is Capel Vale Exclusive Malbec Petit Verdot Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 | Wine Info, and is very easy drinking to my taste buds at just over $10 a bottle. Slightly sweet, medium in length, and fine tannined. Went back and bought another carton now that it's back on sale.

I know there were a few fans of the previous vintages Vinomofo Wine Deals . Unfortunately I didn't try them so can't directly compare.

Must be a glitch Steady, I haven't deleted it and it's still showing for me:), interesting that Maverick's site has the GSM for $25 and the 'FO is saying $29 (not the first time there's been a bit of a discrepancy though)....

Don’t know what happened or why it briefly disappeared for me - but I’m glad it’s back now.
Did you edit it just after posting? Maybe posts disappear while being edited.
