Vinomofo Wine Deals

Yeah, that's a top call - I think you might have it with the Bromley. It looks a bit tarted up for my interest, though. It could well be the grapes that don't make the cut for the Grey Label given a gimmicky makeover.

I would be half tempted to boom on this if it is indeed the Original Collection and not the Bromley, at least VM's generous return policy would help the process if it isn't up to the mark...

I was certainly thinkig more in terms of straight-out quaffer kevviek, than as a cellaring proposition. I have the feeling that it has been made for the "drink now" market but that's my take on it :). I still have fond memories of the early Wolf Blass reds going back to the eighties when even one of the lower tier wines were great exemplars of the big aussie red (unlike the situation today). There are too many decent wines reduced to $10-12 at the moment to ponder it for too long though...

Shiraz 2016 – BLACK MARKET Deal #31484

I'm calling the Maverick Barossa Valley Shiraz (NotThe Maverick!). It's on the winery website at $29. Looks like a second growth wine, but probably very good drinking for $11 a bottle. Maverick seem unable to make a bad Shiraz. Thinking about this one...

Great minds think alike as they say, I had a look at Maverick's site as my first port of call but couldn't find a shiraz that matched price and availability, the only one that comes close is: 2017 Maverick TWINS BARREL SELECT Shiraz (12 bottles minimum) - Maverick Wines. The site has no mention of the Barossa Valley Shiraz when you look at this site: Wine Catalogue - Maverick Wines. Looks like they have multiple sites for various products , anyhoo if it is the Maverick Barossa Shiraz its definitely a lovely wine although I found the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon even better, VM only seems to offer the Cabernet Blend when it comes on the Black Market...

Indeed it was the Bromley by Wolf Blass Shiraz. I wish I had have consulted this site before ordering. Guess I am going to find out how good their returns policy is...

The policy works.
Try a bottle. If you don't like it or think it worth the $15, reply to the order email telling them why you don't like it and ask for a refund or account credit.

They will arrange for Aus Post to collect it and process the refund/credit as soon as you tell them it has been collected.

Redbigot's correct, the only other thing I would add is that an account credit is instant once they are informed of collection but refund requires the wine to be returned and received at warehouse before the money is put back into your a/c :). Btw I agree that cracking a bottle and telling us what it was like would be of interest on both sides.

there is a exclusive facebook only group in their facebook page, all you have to do is to comment "in" in the comments ,

i just joined, they will reply you in messenger, if you are on a phone or tablet, make sure you have messenger app installed too
