Vinomofo Wine Deals

I bought some. With 7% cb and a $25 referral it all got too much for me not get 6...
Hey Mr Beefarmer - I see you liked my post but after reading back on this wine I also something from you saying it was no good! I got all worried I'd fallen for MoFaux hype again... what bad reviews of this were you talking about?

Opened one of these Warramunda Cabernets. Very perfumed, lifted nose, lots of dark fruit and hint of choc mint. Quite impressive in the mouth, particularly an intense prune-like presence through the mid-palate. Some stalky tannins to close out. Not enough in my opinion. A fairly well balanced, medium bodied wine but my uninformed opinion is that Eckel's drinking window is optimistic but if it gets there it will be because of the excellent acid.

This was a quote above from a member which reads well. I might have typed that i was thinking about this wine but i also must have read that the reviews, either here or somewhere else, just didnt get me over the line. Victorian cabs are great with plenty of airing. Remember the money back Fo guarantee. Its a beauty. I received yesterday the 6 pack of the Padthaway Shiraz Magnus. Sorry about the confusion and i really hope you like the Cabernets.

In this wine game, it is simple, Good is good and the rest get sent back to the Fo. We all seek the good, then from the good we seek the sublime, and from the sublime we seek the ethereal. I reckon you'd be lucky to get a dozen ethereal in your life. I could be wrong as I have never gone to my notes to figure this out but may one day. 1999 Mooroduc Estate Chardonnay is one however. Brown brothers 1997 Merlot is another.Shotfire Quartate 2006 is another. Enough of looking in my top 6 for the last few decades. I don't know if there is a better than ethereal to be honest.

I'm tempted - but despite the fruit going to a very well regarded Giaconda wine, the 2012 of this one got just OK reviews - 89 from Huon Hook (who i trust a lot more than Halliday), so I'm torn... hard to find anything much about this vintage.
I love a good Bordeaux-style blend and am intrigued by what this could be. Any ideas?

I opened a bottle (of the Beechworth) last night with friends, then a second bottle. They are both ordering 6 for themselves. Needless to say we loved it.

Any clues on the Tassie Pinot?
There’s not going to be many at $30 RRP ?
Possibly Riversdale Roaring 40's, Coal River, price is right and they've had their wines previously.

I just boomed on that, free shipping as well, my first mof_ order in 2 years.

FWIW - Shiraz 2016 – Black Market Deal #35867

Is

Opened a bottle over the weekend, the time on lees is evident, and adds a layer of intrigue/funk over a perfectly drinkable Shiraz.

Needs a good half an hour of air, and watch out for the cake of sediment.

Hoping someone can provide some insight into this one. Done the usual checks but been unsuccessful.
thank you

I believe it's Pertaringa. They've had many previous vintages. I submitted it here:
