I cracked a bottle of the 2012 Hassellgrove The Cruth last night which was a black market deal a week or two ago. Holy moly it was fantastic!!!

They actually had both in a couple of days from memory. The 2011 was on first then the 2012 a couple of days later.

Parents grabbed a 6er of the 2012 after I bought a 6er of the 2011. I really wish I had have gotten more now!

$160 to $48 is the 2011 vintage, not as good as 2012, the 2012 ($160 to $64) have a 97 Halliday score!

That's the price for the 2011 version. The 2012 (much better year was around $65)

I think it could be the Hewitson Mad Hatter but cant find a 94 point review by Jeremy Oliver ??? other reviews and description seem to match up, anyone have any ideas whether this sounds right or have any other options.

I have tried a few Hewitson reds and cant say I have had a bad one.

Thinking the same. I have the Hewitson The Mother Vine on it's way from last week. I purchased so hopefully you are correct, good deal for $22 a bottle. Dan M have it for $55.

I think you're right about the choice of wine.

Hewitson is a quality producer. I'd have no hesitation in buying any of their wines.
